Haas TS provides telecommunications solutions and services for all eligible Haas faculty and staff.

Mobile Devices

Eligible faculty and staff may order mobile devices and wireless service through U.C. Berkeley IS&T Wireless and its partner carriers AT&T And Verizon only.

All new or upgrade device and service requests must be coursed through helpdesk@haas.berkeley.edu

Telecom Services Mobile Device Policies

Landlines

    Types of Landlines

    • Analog

      • An analog phone line is more cost effective, but the analog phone cannot support multiple lines like the electronic/digital phone can.

    • Electronic/Digital

      • An electronic/digital line features one-button access to features such as call transferring and group intercom, and can support as many phone numbers as buttons available. It also provides superior sound quality.

    Call Forwarding


      Call Forward on Campus PBX Analog Phones


        To redirect all calls to another campus number:

        • Dial *12.
        • Dial the 5-digit campus number where you want the calls to be answered.
        • Wait for confirmation tone, then hang up.

        To cancel the Call Forwarding feature:

        • Dial #12.

      Call Forward for Avaya Digital Phones


        To forward your calls to another campus number:

        • Scroll through the screens and press the Call Forward button.
        • Dial the 5-digit campus number where you want the calls to be answered.
        • Wait for confirmation tone, then hang up.
        • The indicator next to the Call Forward button will be on.

        To cancel the Call Forwarding feature:

        • Scroll through the screens and press the Call Forward button.
        • The indicator next to the Call Forward button will turn off.

    Phone Support

      If you would like to order any phone-related items, including phones, phone lines, phone features, and voicemail, please email helpdesk@haas.berkeley.edu with the following information. Please make sure you obtain the approval of the appropriate supervisor before sending the order email.

      2. Phone number (if any)
      3. Room number
      4. Items requested
      5. Chartstring to charge the order to

      If you need to have a phone line(s) moved, please email helpdesk@haas.berkeley.edu with the following information. Please make sure you obtain the approval of the appropriate supervisor before sending the order email.

    Support

      To request phone support, including to report a broken phone or to reset a voicemail password, please email helpdesk@haas.berkeley.edu with the following information.

      1. Name of employee
      2. Phone number (if any)
      3. Room number
      4. Description of problem
      5. Description of phone (i.e. Cortelco phone, Avaya 9404 phonne, etc.)
